Dodo

Dodo (Raphus cucullatus) is an extinct species of columbiform bird of the Raphinae subfamily that lived during the Holocene until its extinction in the year 1690 of our era due to the action of humans. It was a flightless bird endemic to the island of Mauritius, which had lost the ability to fly and incorporated other adaptations to be able to develop into a terrestrial life.
It could be said that the Dodo was a bird of approximately 1 meter in height, with grayish plumage and a weight that, according to analyzes carried out in 2012, would be around 10 kg and that it had a thick and curved beak, small wings and a large rounded head. The dodos lived in the island's forests and ate mainly fruits, seeds, and roots. They had no natural predators on the island and therefore did not develop the ability to fly or be fast to escape potential predators.
The model pose represents a specimen of Rhapus cucullatus running through the habitat of the Coastline and Islands, this habitat appreciated by many birds.
