Hypsilophodon foxii
Hypsilophodon foxii is an ornithopod dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 125 million years ago. This small herbivore was discovered on the Isle of Wight in southern England and is known for its compact size and agile body structure.

With a length of around 2 meters and an estimated weight of about 20 kilograms, Hypsilophodon foxii was a relatively small dinosaur. Its skeleton was adapted for speed and agility, with long, slender hind limbs suggesting fast, bipedal locomotion. Its front legs were shorter and it probably used them to handle food or for balance while moving.

The head of Hypsilophodon foxii was small and had a toothless horny beak, ideal for tearing off leaves and low-growing vegetation. Its diet was mainly plant-based and it probably ate ferns, mosses and other plants that grew in its environment.

Although its modest size made it vulnerable to predators, Hypsilophodon foxii likely compensated for this disadvantage with its agility and ability to move quickly. Its fossils have been found in deposits of the Wessex Formation on the Isle of Wight
