Morrosaurus antarcticus
Morrosaurus antarcticus is the only recently described species of the extinct Morrosaurus genus of elasmarian ornithopod dinosaur, which lived at the end of the Cretaceous period, between 70 and 66 million years ago, during the Maastrichtian, in the area of present-day Antarctica, specifically in the Snow Hill Island Formation.

The only known specimen, believed to represent an adult, is estimated to belong to an individual 4.5 to 5 meters long. This makes it larger and more robust in its skeletal structure than many of its relatives, including the Antarctic genus Trinisaura, which is only 1.5 meters long.

Approximate measurements of the Morrosaurus:
  • Scale 1:35 (Complete)
    • Length 120mm
    • Height 68mm
    • Snout-tail length 134 mm

  • Scale 1:20 (Complete)
    • Length 204mm
    • Height 115mm
    • Snout-tail length 235 mm
