Giganotosaurus carollinii is a specie of carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period, approximately 99 to 97 million years ago. It is believed that this dinosaur lived in what is now South America, specifically in what is now Argentina.
The Giganotosaurus is widely recognized as one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs that ever lived. It is estimated that it was around 12 to 13 meters in length and weighed between 6 and 8 tons. His height at the hip was approximately 4 meters.
