Cheetah Vs Thomson's Gazelle

The Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) had been stalking for hours, and finally found its prey.
The nearest Thomson's Gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii), frightened by the presence of the cat, raised its head and walked away from the rest of its herd. However, the cheetah was already on the move and started running towards her at a speed of about 120 km/h.

The startled gazelle began to run as fast as it could, but was unable to match the speed of the cheetah. The predator approached its prey at full speed, getting closer and closer to it. The gazelle, knowing it was in danger, tried to zigzag and change direction, but it was too late. The cheetah was right behind her.

In the current Anthropocene, cheetah and gazelle populations are under pressure due to poaching, habitat loss, and other factors related to human activity. Despite this, this breathtaking scene of hunting in the African savannah remains one of the most fascinating in the natural world.
