Muttaburrasaurus langdoni / Australovenator wintonensis
Muttaburrasaurus langdoni, the only known species of the extinct genus Muttaburrasaurus, was a rhabdodontomorph ornithopod dinosaur that lived during the Middle Cretaceous, approximately 112 to 98.6 million years ago, in the Albian and Cenomanian epochs, in what is now Australia. . With a length of 7 to 9 meters and a robust body, this herbivore moved mainly on four legs, although it could stand on its hind legs to reach elevated vegetation or run.

In the hot, humid landscape of the Australian Cretaceous, a Muttaburrasaurus is found grazing peacefully among dense vegetation, using its efficient dentition to shred tough, fibrous plants. Suddenly, an Australovenator, a medium-sized theropod predator known for its agility and sharp claws, stealthily emerges from the nearby bushes. The Australovenator, which lived around the same time and region, approaches stealthily, its eyes fixed on the unsuspecting Muttaburrasaurus.

The attack is fast and lethal. The Australovenator lunges towards the Muttaburrasaurus with surprising speed, digging its claws into the herbivore's flanks. The Muttaburrasaurus, although large and strong, is no match for the ferocity and tactics of the predator. It stumbles and roars, trying to defend itself with its bulky body and powerful tail, but the Australovenator's claws sink deeper, causing serious injuries.

Approximate measurements of the Muttaburrasaurus:
  • Complete 1:35 Scale
    • Length 185mm
    • Height 114mm
    • Snout-tail length 215 mm
