Podokesaurus holyokensis was a small theropod dinosaur from the Early Jurassic, dating back approximately 190 million years, whose remains come from the Portland Formation in Massachusetts, USA. It is one of the first theropods described in North America and represents a light, cursorial predator among the basal neotheropods.
It was a slender animal, with an estimated body length of around 1–1.2 meters and a mass that probably did not exceed 10–15 kilograms. Its build was graceful, with a narrow torso, a relatively long neck, and an elongated tail that acted as a dynamic counterbalance during bipedal locomotion. The proportion between the hind limbs and the body suggests clear adaptations for fast running.
The skull, although incomplete and known mainly from historical descriptions—the original material was destroyed in a fire in 1917—is described as light and narrow, with elongated jaws and recurved teeth, laterally compressed and with finely serrated edges, typical of an active carnivore. The dentition indicates a diet based on small vertebrates and possibly large insects.
The forelimbs were relatively short but functional, with three-toed hands equipped with curved claws. The hind limbs were long and slender, with tibiae elongated in relation to the femur, a trait associated with cursorial ability. The narrow, elongated metatarsals reinforce this interpretation, suggesting an agile animal capable of rapid changes of direction.
The tail was rigid in its proximal portion due to bony extensions of the caudal vertebrae, which would have contributed to stability during running. Its posture was digitigrade, bearing its weight on the main toes, a typical characteristic of theropods.
Phylogenetically, Podokesaurus holyokensis has been interpreted as a basal theropod closely related to coelophysis, sharing traits with forms such as Coelophysis . Although the fossil material is limited and its exact placement has been debated, it represents an early example of the small, bipedal predators that would dominate terrestrial ecosystems for much of the Mesozoic.

We are authorized distributors of all the replicas and figures we offer. We use 3D printers with 8K - 14K resolution, and high-quality resins with additives to improve hardness and flexibility, thus offering replicas of impeccable quality.
Different scales will be used to make the replicas (depending on the size of the species), although we are open to making other suggested scales upon request as long as they fit in our printing trays, for which you will have to contact us via email and request the required size.
Replicas are supplied with the option of airbrush priming in dark grey. If you require another colour, please let us know which one you prefer in the box with special instructions for the seller. Without priming, we do not guarantee that the resin will accept paint.
We also offer the option of choosing a professionally painted replica, which is agreed upon throughout its development with the painter, through a private chat available.
Complete replica (one piece): We supply complete replicas in those models that are small, and models that are medium, large or not very bulky, will have the prerogative of being presented as a complete replica or assembly kit as the case may be.
Complete replicas will be supplied separately from their base.
Replica assembly kit: We supply replicas whose models are large, very large or bulky, only with this option.
The indicated replicas (generally composed of base, head, body and tail) will come prepared for the subsequent assembly that will be required by the client, by sanding, putty, adhesive or technique chosen by the client.
All replicas are thoroughly inspected before shipping and will be carefully packaged to prevent damage during transport.

All orders are individually prepared on the cutter for subsequent prototyping, obtaining a resin part that will require post-processing by manual and ultrasonic cleaning, support removal, ultraviolet curing, labeling and packaging.
